What do I need to provide when starting a marketing contract? |

In order to get your marketing under way we will need a few choice items. First is a professional bio. One page is pretty standard and should do the trick and it's also helpful to provide a mini version (single paragraph) as this is often utilized on many web sites.
The second item is a good promo shot. We can accept an 8 x 10 photograph and scan it or you can provide a digit image - please be sure to scan it at least 300 dpi resolution.
The third and final piece of the puzzle is a sample of your music. We prefer mp3s but are happy to accept it in CD format as well. Note: Be sure to encode your mp3s at a minimum of 128 kb/s (bit rate).
If we will be doing regional marketing for you, we will also need your tour dates. |

Who is the Music Community / Distribution Marketing service aimed at? |

I should answer this question with a question: Do you have something that warrants publicity? What I mean is, have you released a new CD or are you starting a tour, etc? If you are planning to do either of these things or even if you just have one big show you need to promote, this service will bring a great deal of added exposure to you through the online media channel. We will submit your press release or news article to all of the e-zines, news websites and music newsletters in our database. The resulting articles will add valuable exposure to your event or release. |
