Not anymore! We handle everything, from the online transaction to the packing and shipping. We provide all of our artists with a system that allows them to monitor sales and make sure that all of their transactions have been properly fulfilled. You simply need to supply us with the goods!
What percentage of the sale do I get to keep?
You set the price you want to sell your CD's and merch at so, you can determine what ends up in your pocket. You earn 75% of every sale. The remaining % covers all hard costs such as admin, storage, bubble mailers etc.
Am I limited at all to how many items I can sell?
Depending on the type of e-store you have set up you may be. Presently we offer two levels of the e-store.
The first has a maximum of 5 items, the advantage is that it is a simpler program and doesn't require SQL which actually keeps your hosting costs down. However, this store doesn't keep an online database of your sales transactions so this is up to you to handle.
The second store is truly the deluxe model. It keeps a comprehensive database of all of your sales including customer data. It allows for unlimited items and has a very high level of configurability.
What's the most inexpensive way to start selling online?
The most cost effective way to get your CD selling online is to sell through our very own Freedom to Groove Store. For a setup cost of $50 you can have your disc selling on one of the fastest growing online retail environments out there. If you are looking at saving your money, all you have to do is link your current site to your section on the Freedom Store and you will soon be seeing the sales roll in.
